On both sides of the light gray-colored, medium-sized, plastic coin are the words:
STATE OF UTAH. SALES TAX TOKEN.
The number 2 is in the center of the token on both sides and is surrounded by a border of two circles.
These tokens were used to help pay sales tax. They originally were made from aluminum. During WWII there was a shortage of material and they began to make them out of plastic.Read More
