Description
A report from John H. Burt about the health conditions of the city. It includes a description of births and deaths and what illnesses happened during the first quarter of 1917. Utah was having epidemics and Brigham City was hit with measels brought from Logan and Salt Lake City. This resulted in quarantine of citizens who were not always happy with this measure.
The latter part of the letter concerns the water supply of Brigham City. A Professor Hirst was brought to examine the locations of Maple and Halling springs.
