Description
Lewis Jones told of the Christensen Brothers who established the Academy of Music and Dance in Brigham City and of the next generation of Christensen brothers who founded prominent ballet schools and companies, including Ballet West in Salt Lake City. He also told of Lars Christensen, Danish immigrant and ancestor of both himself and of the Christensens. He told of meeting Willam Christensen on two occasions. The discussion also covers the World War II experiences of his father Lewis H. Jones, who as captain served as attorney for the 222nd Field Artillery Battalion, Utah National Guard and later with the rank of lieutenant colonel belonged to the JAG (Judge Advocate General) Department serving in Hawaii.
