Description
Marva Frost recalled her youth in Brigham City and the changes she has seen over the years. She worked at the Bushnell Hospital PX during WWII and told of local residents opening spare bedrooms in their homes to the influx of people coming to the hospital. Her future husband Edward Frost served in the Air Force and was a ball turret gunner on a B 24 plane. Because he replaced several men who had been killed in that assignment, he completed his required number of missions sooner than most gunners and was able to return to duty in the United States. During a 10-day leave when his father died, he and Marva went to Nevada and got married.
