Written by Willis. Corbin Willis was in the Army Air Corps flying missions over Germany when his plane was shot down and he was taken to a German POW camp. His family was notified that he was missing in action and presumed dead, and they had a funeral for him. His wife, whom he'd married 18 days before leaving for the war, remarried and was expecting a child when he came home. Discussion includes his life as a POW, a 100-mile death march, emotional trauma of losing his wife, and subsequently marrying again and having a successful life. A career military man, he served in the Korean War, flying 57 missions. He ahd his daughter Carrie Nelsen of Brigham City were honored on a nationally televised Memorial Day Concert In Washington, D.C. in 2006. Included is Carrie's perspective of the story.
