Description
Created by Sharon L. Schlotzhauer of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The pictorial 'window' scene in this quilt gives the appearance of looking out onto the Serengeti Plain. Many dimensional features include folded prairie points, beadwork, shells, and trims down the center of the quilt. Elephants, giraffs, women in a village, and different fibers are seen in the quilt.

Machine pieced, machine appliqué, fused appliqué with machine finished edges, hand appliqué, beadwork, dimensional work, machine quilting
