Description
Discussion of Brigham City lifestyle. Chloe was the 13th of 14 children of an early settler and farmer. She remembered the first electricity in the home, cooking on a coal stove, trading eggs for candy at the store, taking dancing lessons at the Opera House, and travelling by horse and buggy. She learned millinery and made hats and coats for herself and later for her three daughters. Includes family history, ancestors arriving on the Mayflower and Mormon pioneers who practiced polygamy.
