1881 – 1882
Description
Victorian scrapbook. Front of cover is very worn. It is fabric-bound with floral designs all around and the raised image of vases and plates. Newspaper articles are glued in the first portion of the book. These include stories, anecdotes, quotes and poems not news stories. Some loose clippings that are not glued in leaves yet identify years as 1881 and 1882. Further dates could probably be assessed from the content of articles. In back portion of scrapbook are various prints, mostly Currier and Ives. Some of the prints have racist depictions. No name or information on any of the pages.
