Description
Black and white photograph of a sale going on at Fishburn's store. Papers in the windows include the text "Peace Declared," and "Price Bankrupt" but do not seem to relate to any declaration of war. They are advertisements for the sale. The date comes from text scratched into the bottom of the glass plate.This store was in the Rosenbaum Hall building, at 104 South Main, which Fishburn had purchased in 1894.
