Description
Pat Whitaker\'s mother worked as a teacher and later in Administration at Intermountain Indian School, and their family of four (parents and two girls) lived on campus. Pat loved life there where the employees' children all played together -- hiding in the enclosed walkways between buildings, seeing movies and swimming in the campus pool. During these years, she developed a great love for the Navajo people. Discussion includes the careers of her mother Louise Bonnell and her aunt Lizabeth Eubanks, both of whom had success working with the Navajos through Bureau of Indian Affairs programs.
