Description
Fran Holt\\'s father Thomas Tommaney had a 30-year career with the Burea of Indian Affairs. He worked at several Indian schools across the country. At Intermountain School, he had the positions of Principal and then Superintendent of the school. The family lived in an apartment on campus and Fran told of her impressions of the school -- its high academic quality and vocational training available to the Indian students. Discussion includes a letter of support for the school written by her father when its closure was being considered. Fran considers Brigham City her home, where she has reared her family and has many friends.
