Description
"Marble from Italy" by J.T. Harwood is a colored etching done in 1928. The signature and date are in the lower left of the image. A pencil signature and title are underneath the image. The number 79 probably indicates the number of this original print in the edition. The image was executed with two plates - a color plate and a black and white line drawing plate. The image is of a boat in a harbor having blocks of marble unloaded with a hoist. A small bronze plate identifies the title and artist. It is attached to the middle bottom of the frame.
Dimensions: 31.75 cm;41.275 cm;0 cm;0 cm;;0 cm;These are the dimensions of the image. The image is not matted and the paper goes to the edge of the frame. Frame dimensions are 27.25 X 21.125 inches.
