Description
Novelty, Calender. This calendar was given as advertising by McMaster and Forsgren Hardware and Lumber Store, Brigham City, Utah. It is probably the oldest business advertising artifact in the museum. It is dated from 1905 and has all calendar pages intact. The calendar pages are on a small pad (4.000 inches in height width and 1.750 inches in height) which stapled near the lower edge of the calendar The background is of cardboard and has a scene in the middle which contains houses, trees, a stream, and two children. Surrounding the scene, the company name and the top, and the calendar pages at the bottom, is an ornate border of flowers, leaves and scroll designs.
