Description
A four-pound salmon-colored woolen blanket with a salmon and tan checkered stripe at the top identified by a small cloth tag with the words "Baron Woolen Mills Brigham City, Utah." According to Dale Baron, the blanket was made about 30 to 60 years ago, and they sold thousands of them in green, tan and brown. (Rex Baron stated over the phone it probably was made about 1945). It was a popular style in the medium to low price range. A blanket with this pattern required a special warping on the loom. It was primarily made in double and twin sizes. The blanket's code number is 340.
Blanket stitch in salmon/pink yarn around the edges. Checked pattern.
