Description
A program for the 1955 ceremony of the Golden Spike anniversary.  Held at Promontory Station, it had the box elder high school band performing and a flag ceremony put on by the American Legion.  Giving a speech, probably about the history of the golden spike, is Dr Leland H. Creer and then some remarks from members of the government and railroad companies.

The back of the program lists important moments in Golden Spike History.  One spot has a correction
on "seven miles west of Corinne' to "seven miles west to Corinne" which is a significant difference.
