A sun patch for the 40th Infantry Division. During World War 1, it was a division made up of national guard units from Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. The patch comes from Ernest Freeman, who was part of the Utah National Guard and went to Camp Kearney to train for World War 1.
