Gerald Buttars was Director of the Utah Library for the Blind from 1966 until his recent retirement ended his 39-year career. He also served as Executive Secretary of the Utah Library Association from 1973 to 1988. Discussion includes technical advancements for blind users in obtaining more information than ever before. He also covered the history of the Utah Library Association during his years as a member.
