Description
Kenny Thornton was drafted into the Air Force where he became a radio operator. He flew B 17s from Australia to Japan. He was shot down over Japan and was taken prisoner. He was taken with the death march to a Japanese POW camp. Discussion includes treatment he received as a prisoner and his release after the atomic bomb hit Hiroshima.
