Description
LaVar Udy served in the Army during WWII. He worked as a typist at Battalion Headquarters in Louisiana and drove a supply truck in Europe delivering supplies and replacement troops to the front lines. He was in the Battle of the Bulge where his big truck was an easy enemy target, but he was never hit.
