Description
Frank Forsgren worked at Remington Arms in Salt Lake City, loading shells for the war effort until 1944 when he was inducted into the Army. He was in Liege, Belgium when Germany surrendered and then became a clerk typist at Headquarters Battalion in Wiesbaden, Germany and often personally delivered endorsements to General Dwight D. Eisenhower. He was there when Japan surrendered and the war ended.
