Description
Interview with Ed and Roxcy Welch who were both employed at Intermountain School. Ed was a painter during the conversion of the facility from a military hospital to an Indian boarding school. He continued painting after the school opened, taught classes in painting as a vocation, and became a foreman in maintenance. His wife Roxcy worked at the nursery for employees' children and later as a Civil Service employee in the mail room and then as a secretary. Discussion includes student academic and vocational training and other activities.
