Description
Steven Nelson retired in May of 2008 from his position as Maintenance Supervisor for Brigham City Corporation. He was hired in August 1977 as an assistant building inspector and took over the City's building maintenance in 1984. He has been responsible for maintaining the main buildings, such as City Hall, Chamber of Commerce building, the Library, the Emergency Services building and the Community Center. He has also kept up the satellite buildings throughout the community. His work has include building repairs, painting, carpetry, wiring heating and air conditioning. He dealt with such crises as a boiler failure at the Library and flooding at the Museum.
