Description
This quilt was originally made by the grandmother of Emma Moore, in Dallas, TX -- Emma Walker Parke.Quilt probably dates to the late 1920s or early 1930s. The catalog paper pages used as the foundation indicate those dates.
Names are mentioned on two blocks: Eleen Killian and Floy Fay and J.C., although it unclear their relationship to this item. The original owner was quite involved with the Southern Baptist Church, and it is possible they helped make this quilt.
This piece is very unique.
