Description
Paddock letter to Knudson in which he requests tule seeds that an Illinois Duck Club can plant in their marshes as excellent duck food. He recalls that he has never seen wild ducks so fat, :...as those, we got ff the Bear River flats"
In Knudson's reply, he reports that hunting season opens soon. "The ducks and geese are quite numerous this year I am informed and know because I visited the marshes the other day and bilt a blind for my brother James and myself." He has asked the secretary to look into the issue about tule seeds.
The unsigned hand-written note describes a road east of Brigham City through Box Elder Canyon that the "C.C. Boys has built."
