Description
This bone fragment sees to me to very likely be an awl. Looking at images online, they seem to confirm this theory. Thicker fragment of bone was worn away to form a sharp point on the end of the worn away part. The top is thick eough to provide a comfortable hand hold while pushing through leather. Signs of use exist the top sign being that the tip of the awl has been worn very smooth from repeated use.
