Gray Shale Pendant with hole

Description
Pendant was broken about four cm from the top. in the top corner there is a hole that was drilled into the shale. The hole is not consistant all the way through but has a ridge right in the middle of it indicating that it was drilled from both sides to get an even opening rather than a conical opening. Not very thick but not so thin that it is fragile. Edges are ground down so that they are slightly beveled.
