Black Obsidian Projectile Point

Anthropological

Identifier:
2011.26.7
Description
Shape is comparable to that of a leaf and very thin. Seems the best explantion is that this is a projectile point due to thinness and shape of tool. Relatively symetrical with a notch in the bottom (possibly formed through natrural cracks in the obsidian). Could be a Folsom point based on it's design. (page 966 in big arrowhead book)
