Description
Eldon and Kathlyn Coffman, as a newly-married couple, were sent by the National Council of Churches to work for the Protestant program at Intermountain Indian School, Brigham City, on a two-year assignment. They eventually obtained paid jobs at the school -- Eldon with the Church and Kathlyn as a teacher at the school. The discussion includes progress at the school, their love for the Indian students, and student relationships within the community. They particularly enjoyed the students' humor. They lived in Brigham City and were affiliated with the school for 28 years.
