Description
Bob Barrett always enjoyed wildlife, and from the age of 7, planned to obtain a degree in Wildlife Management. After he earned that degree from Mesa State College in Colorado, he worked in Colorado as a park ranger and at refuges in Massachusetts, Colorado and Minnesota and as Deputy Refuge Supervisor at Denver. In June 2007 he became Project Leader at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. Discussion includes the history and prestige of the Refuge, the new Visitor Center/Education Center, projected improvements on the road to the Refuge and satellite technology in tracking birds.
