Description
Discussion of Wells Monson's experiences as an employee of Bushnell Hospital working with German Prisoners of War. He began working at the hospital in 1943 delivering supplies to maintenance men and to the kitchen. One POW helped with deliveries, and several more helped unload the materials. German prisoners were polite and worked hard. He also worked briefly with Italina POWs at the hospital. Includes general information about the operation of Bushnell Hospital and personal and family history.
