Description
Curtis Roche served in the Marine Corps for 25 years. One of his assignments was as Crew Chief of a squadron of personal maintaining and flying Huey helicoptors. They transported dignitaries to various locations. After the US Embassy in Lebanon was bombed his squadron flew rotating security troops guarding the relocated Embassy in Beirut to and from the ship. Of the 267 people working for him in dangerous missions, none was seriously injured or killed.
