Description
The 85th anniversary of the Golden Spike ceremony celebrated at the site with a reenactment.Β  It includes a history of railroad history on the back with facts including that the line "fulfilled the dream of Columbus of a shorter route to the Orient" and "225 milse of parallel grades were built through this area."

The ceremony has performances by the Bear River High School Band, with remarks from Ernest D. Wilkinson who was the president of Brigham Young University, and a song called The Iron Horse sung by Joseph Watkins.
