Letter from Paddock to Knudson describes good ducks and quil around here (Leesburg, Florida)Suggests that no further action be taken regarding the tule seed. He hopes to hear about the hunt. Encloses newspaper article about his Christmas celebration,
In reply, Knudson describes the winter "...as mild with little know which encouraged the ducks to winter here. As the season progressed, however, know became deep and food scarce in the marshes which has forced the ducks to seek food in the fields and orchards and in fact inour back yards. The fish and game associatoiin is now feeding them..."
