Description
John Marshall worked at Intermountain Indian School running the swimming pool. He taught swimming as one of the P.E. classes and oversaw the recreational swimming in the evenings. He later became Head of the Physical Education Department where the curriculum included football, basketball, wrestling and cross country. The Indian students' competed with public high school teams in the area. Discussion includes John's love of the Intermountain students, his trips to the reservation to meet parents and to enroll children in the school. He also told of vocational training available at the school.
