Description
Interview covers her years of teaching Home Economics and other classes at Intermountain Indian School. She taught when the students were all Navajo and later when it opened to other tribes. They learned cooking, dress-making and special crafts. Discussion includes vocational training opportunities for the students, their work for people in the community, the school's goal of helping students succeed in society while maintaining their native heritage
