Description
Leon Jensen's career in law enforcement includes 4 years as an an officer with the Tremonton Police Department, 21 years as a Utah Highway Patrol trooper, and 3 terms of office as Box Elder County Sheriff. Discussion includes duties of each office and difficult tasks including death or serious injuries caused by traffic accidents and notifying victims' families. His worst experience was a car-train accident which caused the deaths of his parents. He told of the new county jail, search and rescue efforts, courts, and changes in law enforcement over the years.
