Well-used cookbook created by Stella Young and Miriam Jackson, Home Economics Instructors at B.E.H.S. in 1926. Cover has been replaced or any text that may have been there is gone.Was owned by Helen Knudson of 446 South 1st West.
Many pages have food stains indicating what Helen may have made most frequently. Writing inside includes added recipes or amendments to those included.
Inclusdes beverages, breads, cakes, cake filling and icings, candy, cereals, cookies, cream soups, eggs, food preservation, frozen desserts, fruits, meat, fish and poultry, meat accompaniments, meat substitutes, pies and pie fillings, puddings, pudding sauces, salads, sandwiches, and vegetables. Helen has also added Chile Sauce to page 108.
